I didn’t start playing D&D until I was 22—my co-worker got me into his game.  After my first gaming session, all I could think was “Damnit! Why weren’t my friends cooler in high school!?” One day I was working with the same co-worker, he told me I couldn’t game on borrowed dice anymore—today was the day—we were gonna head to the DICE DOJO after work.  However, my buddy had just gotten back from his hometown, stopped by the shop with his old dice from his gaming days, saying he was passing them on to me. My first roll that night, NAT 20, CRITICAL HIT. No Bigs.
